Powers and Sons
From its modest beginnings as a small machine shop at the back of
a Ford dealership, Powers and Sons has evolved into a
multinational, state-of-the-art, full-service supplier employing
over 300 people. In 2002, sales exceeded $100 million, and Powers
and Sons LLC was formed to better position the company for the
challenges of the new millennium. As a designer and provider of
machined steering and suspension components, systems and
assemblies, Powers and Sons LLC markets and sells its products to
Original Equipment Manufacturers and is a tier 2 provider to other
tier 1 suppliers. It offers a broad range of products, with ball
joint sizes ranging from 22 to 40 mm; and it works in most of the
metals used in suspension and steering linkage, including steel,
aluminum and cast iron. Located in Montpelier, Ohio, Powers and
Sons LLC's 210,000 sq. ft. (19,500 sq. m.) facility is home to all
of its engineering, testing, machining and some assembly. Powers
and Sons LLC manufactures products for rack-and-pinion steering
and conventional steering systems as well as other suspension
types. |
