LOCAL 211, UAW HALL HOUSE RULES
 

1.         No member of Local 211, UAW or other organization shall rent the Union Hall more than one (1) day a year except by prior approval of the Executive Board.

2.         A. Retainer fee must be paid within fourteen (14) days following reservation.  Balance due when picking up keys.

            B.  Retainer fee shall be 50% of rental fee.

C.  Retainer fee will be forfeited unless cancellation is made sixty (60) days prior to rental date unless approved by the Executive Board.

D.  Retainer fee will be forfeited if date of rental is changed and later cancelled unless approved by Executive Board.

3.         Local 211 Hall may be rented one (1) year in advance for family functions which qualify for the reduced rates.  All other functions will be limited to six (6) months.

4.         To qualify for hall rental at membership rate you must be active or retired as a member in good standing with Local 211, UAW or be a surviving spouse of same.

All others affiliated with the Local 211 Retiree Chapter are considered as General Public.

5.         Members who retire in good standing with Local 211, UAW may use the hall free of charge one time for their own retirement party; this must be used within one year of your retirement date.

6.         The Executive Board shall retain the right to cancel or deny any individual or organization renting the hall for proper reasons, such as to hold functions that might reflect or bring reproach upon the union or community.

7.         The hall shall not be rented for any fundraising event or where an admittance fee is to be charged without prior approval of Executive Board.

8.          No equipment shall be removed from the hall, loaned out or leave the premises without prior approval of Executive Board.

9.         Any organization renting or using UAW Local 211 facilities will not erect or have erected mechanical rides or structures that cause damage or could cause injury on UAW Local 211’s facilities without first obtaining permission from Trustees or Executive Board of Local 211.

10.       This is a NON-SMOKING facility.

11.       Rental rates shall be:

            A.  General Public:

                                    1.  A Hall with Kitchen ………………….$500.00

            2.  B Hall…………………………………$350.00

                                    3.  A & B Hall……………………………$750.00

                                    4.  Damage Deposit………………………$450.00

B.  Local 211 Members rate for a family function within the immediate family (per Paragraph 218-B of the National Agreement): IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY

            1.  A Hall with Kitchen …………………..$350.00

            2.  B Hall………………………………….$300.00

            3.  A & B Hall…………………………….$550.00

            4.  Damage Deposit……………………….$450.00

C.  If kitchen facility is used, it must be cleaned up by the organization using them.    

13.       All monies must be paid prior to picking up keys.

14.       Fire Marshall and State Fire Code will allow seating for 450 guests.

* WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LEFT BEHIND

* YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING OF AREAS USED INCLUDING, KITCHEN, LOBBIES, ENTRANCE AND HALL. PLEASE LEAVE THE RENTAL FACILITY IN THE SAME CONDITION THAT IT WAS IN PRIOR TO THE RENTAL. IF THESE RULES ARE NOT FOLLOWED YOUR DAMAGE DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE RETURNED.

 

LOCAL 211, UAW HALL HOUSE RULES

1.  BUILDING WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE BEFORE 7:00 A.M. ON THE DAY OF THE RENTAL.

2.  KEYS MUST BE PICKED UP BEFORE 4:00 P.M. ON THE LAST WORKING DAY BEFORE RENTAL DATE AND RETURNED BY THE FIRST TUESDAY AFTER RENTAL.

3.  YOU MUST SET UP OWN TABLES AND CHAIRS; JANITORS WILL TAKE THEM DOWN.

4.  ALL LITTER MUST BE CLEANED FROM TABLES AND PLACED IN OUTSIDE DUMPSTER; TAKE ALL TRASH OUT TO DUMPSTER, MAKE SURE TRASH IS PICKED UP IN FRONT OF DUMPSTERS, CLEAN KITCHEN, REMOVE ALL FOOD/BEVERAGES FROM REFRIGERATORS.

5.  TAKE ALL PERSONAL BELONGINGS, INCLUDING BEER, WITH YOU UPON LEAVING BUILDING.  TURN OFF LIGHTS AND LOCK ALL DOORS.

6.  NO RICE, OR USING DANCE WAX, SAND, GLITTER OR CONFETTI OR OTHER SUCH MATERIAL IN HALL.

7.  PREMISES MUST BE VACATED BY 1:00 A.M. SO HALL MAY BE CLEANED FOR NEXT DAY’S RENTAL.

8.  LITTER MUST BE PICKED UP FROM PARKING LOT AND AROUND FRONT OF BUILDING.

9.  IMPORTANT:  ABSOLUTELY NO DECORATIONS TAPED, STAPLED OR NAILED TO WALLS OR CEILING – FREE-STANDING AND TABLE DECORATIONS ONLY.

10. NO PORTABLE COOKING PITS OR MECHANICAL RIDES ON BLACKTOP AROUND BUILDING.

11. ANY ORGANIZATION RENTING OR USING UAW LOCAL 211 FACILITIES WILL NOT ERECT OR HAVE ERECTED MECHANICAL RIDES OR STRUCTURES THAT CAUSE DAMAGE OR COULD CAUSE INJURY ON UAW LOCAL 211’S FACILITIES WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING PERMISSION FROM TRUSTEES OR EXECUTIVE BOARD OF LOCAL 211.

12.  NO PETS, EXCEPT SPECIAL NEEDS ANIMALS, ALLOWED IN THE HALL.

13.  THIS IS A NON-SMOKING FACILITY

14.  NO DEEP FRYING OF ANY FOODS IN THE BUILDING.

15.  RETAINER FEE WILL BE FORFEITED UNLESS CANCELLATION IS MADE 60 (SIXTY) DAYS PRIOR TO RENTAL DATE.

IF ANY OF THE ABOVE RULES ARE NOT FOLLOWED THE DAMAGE DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

THERE ARE 571 CHAIRS AVAILABLE FOR YOUR USE AND 70 EIGHT FOOT TABLES

NOTE:  FIRE MARSHAL AND STATE FIRE CODE WILL ALLOW SEATING FOR 450 GUESTS.
